I am wanting to buy a kayak. I want to buy one to generally fish and for recreactional use. Well this is a two part question, what brand of kayak would be good to satisfy my fishing needs and secondly, are there any places in Lake Isabella that do Kayak "tours."

Check out hobiecat.com/fishing/
Hobie Cat Kayaks, Mirage Adventure Fish and Hobie Mirage Outback Fish.

Don't know of any tours.

Have you checked out wildernesssystems.com?
They have some fishing kayaks but not as impressive as Hobie but might be less expensive.

I bought my Wildreness Ripper in Kernville at one of the rafting stores on the right hand side of road on corner, I think just pass the bridge. They have end season sales but most everything goes fast. I had to buy my Ripper when they first arrived, around Feb or March and paid full price because they sell out so fast. However, they may not carry fishing kayaks so you might have to order if you go with Wilderness. For fisihing I would prefere Hobie.

I would love to have Hobie Cat kayak sail.

Have Fun!
