Kern River Valley Bulletin Board

I will be in Kernville tuesday through thursday and will be paying a visit to Lake Isabella, where my grandparents' ashes are. Figuring on doing a little fishing while we are there. We will be limited to fishing on wednesday only, and will be limited to fishing from shore. Any advice on spots to drop our lines in would be most appreciated as our time to fish will be limited to wednesday only. Also what baits/lures are hitting. We would like to fish for LM, as well as crappie & bluegill, but anything would be welcome as we will have a youngster with us who doesn't get to fish much. Joughlin Cove is good for Crappie, turn into Kissac Cove and take the dirt road that goes right and follow it all of the until you get to a cove
