Hi all

Cherokee here with a couple of great pictures of one of the biggest bluegills I have ever seen caught here in California, it came from a private pond that I have access to on occasion, this fish weighed 2.1 lbs. and was 14-1/8" long, you will see in the photo that my buddy who caught this fish has his thumb in this bluegills mouth, spectacular colors on these fish we caught, this was the largest of many we caught that were all very big  :D

I tried my best to get my buddy to keep this fish to have it mounted, turns out with the dimensions we took, and the photos we have, he can have amount made that will resemble the fish exactly in all detail.

I couldn't stand to watch him fillet this monster, but he said it tasted fantastic  :P

Tight lines everyone!

Cherokee

The Property is a series of ponds near Lake Santa Margarita, they are on private property, as well as I know these folks, they will only let me fish here about three times per year, so I try to get over there during the LM bass spawn to catch some hogs :D

Evertything in these ponds is adnormally huge, they simply are not fished much at all, so even the bluegill are really big :)

Taker easy :P
